Life Groups

Life Groups are a great way to get to know people at FountainGate. They are small groups which meet weekly to worship, study the Bible and learn from each other. These groups provide friendship, accountability and a source of encouragement. We have many of these groups, so that each person/family can find a group which suits their personality and needs best.

Life Groups do not meet weekly during the summer.

Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible Study is offered each Sunday morning. Basic Equipping Classes are offered from 9:30-10:30 am. The Training and Equipping Classes are offered on a constant, rotating cycle throughout the year, and are designed to provide a Biblical foundation, and to equip everyone to carry out the ministry.

Retreats

Retreats and Intensives (often held over a 2-day period) address specific issues and are designed to help us grow in Christ.

Children

Our children ages 0-5th grade have an opportunity to be a part of Kingdom Kids. This is where they are taught the basics of being a Christian--what it means to follow Jesus, about character, and showing others that Jesus loves them.

Our weekly event for children ages 1st-5th grades is called Prayground. There, they learn what it means to have faith. We teach them to be unashamed and live radically for Jesus, believing that each of them can change the world now!

Youth & College

Middle & High School                                                                                                                                Each week, EPIC Student Ministries comes together at the Zone Student Center for an awesome worship and teaching time.  Come be impacted by God, and to learn how to impact your homes, schools and the world around.

University/College                                                                                                                                Students from each of the area universities and junior colleges have found themselves drawn together by a common longing to learn more about God and the power of the Holy Spirit. This gives them the opportunity to not only learn about, but to use all of the gifts of the Spirit, and to see their own and other's lives completely changed as a result!

Families

Families are incredibly important at FountainGate! We believe that if you are married and/or have children, then it is important for you to learn how to live as a family in the Kingdom of God.

We offer marriage retreats and Life Groups designed specifically for families; to provide education and support during all of the stages of family life.

Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry consists of women of all ages and walks of life coming together for events that include anything from good food and fellowship, to worship and teaching.

Prayer

At FountainGate, prayer is not just something we do on Sunday mornings, it is a way of life. Our prayer-related events include: 24 hour prayer vigils, early morning prayer, and congregational prayer times, just to mention a few.

We also encourage each of our members to get inner healing (this means getting rid of all of the things that all holding us back, like unforgiveness and bitterness we've stored up inside). We hold Freedom Retreats to begin the process of recognizing the sins and emotional/spiritual wounds that are keeping us from reaching our destiny in Christ. For those who wish to go deeper into finding release from these things, we offer prayer counseling.

DELUGE Dance Ministry

DELUGE Dance Ministry consists of children through adult members who are devoted to help create an atmosphere of worship that ushers in the presence of the Lord through the use of movement, gesture and dance. DELUGE partners minister during Sunday morning services, special events, and participate in outreach activities in Abilene, the Big Country, and neighboring communities.

The Mission of DELUGE Dance Ministry is to see the Body of Christ set free to enter into a deeper, more intimate, worship relationship with the Lord. This is accomplished by equipping worshippers with the knowledge and understanding of the purpose of dance as a ministry in the Church today.
