A Life Group is a small gathering of people who come together each week to grow in their love for God, their love for each other, and to share the Gospel with others. FountainGate Fellowship's vision is to have life groups across both the city of Abilene and the Big Country, so that the Kingdom of God can be known throughout this area.

Life Group Goals

Our goals come from two of Christ's basic commands:
A) Matthew 22:37-40
B) Matthew 28:18-20

1. To grow closer to God. (Passion for Jesus)
2. To grow closer to each other. (Love & compassion for one-another)
3. To win the lost and help them mature in Christ. (Great Commission)
4. To grow this group to 12-15 adults, multiply (split into more life groups), and begin the process again.

Basic Values/Activities of our Life Groups

* The Key to the Life Group: Life Groups are not about having a meeting, but about creating relationships!
(Hebrews 10:24-25)
* DNA (makeup) of the Life Group: We believe that the following four elements are in direct proportion to a Life Group's ability to grow and thrive, as well as its ability to create an environment of love and acceptance.

1. Prayer (stimulating individual and group)
2. Love & relationships
3. Outreach
4. Discipleship (with a vision of raising up leaders)
